With over two decades of experience in sales and marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, she’s been on “both sides” of the table, as a salesperson and as a small business owner. She has been designing web pages and running a home-based business since before it was popular (over 10 years). Back in the early days of home-based companies she ran a social networking site for home-based business owners called “Professionals in Pajamas”. Her belief is that “new media” is a fabulous opportunity for small businesses to grow by use of the Internet. Instead of avoiding small businesses, she has always welcomed them as loyal clients and friends some of whom she has been working with for over 15 years.
She is not only a professional blogger with “I am not a handbag” who has been maintaining her original blog since 2004 , but also maintains Mid Century Style, a site for mid-century modern home enthusiasts. She also “tweets” regularly and you will find her active on many Social media websites.
